Arnold Aprill
Arnold Aprill is the Executive Director of CAPE (Chicago Arts
Partnerships in Education.) He comes from a background in professional
theater as an award-winning director, producer, and playwright. He
has taught at the University of Chicago, Columbia College, and the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is one of the co-authors,
with Craig Dreeszen and Richard Deasy, of Learning Partnerships:
Improving Learning in Schools with Arts Partners in the Community, and
is one of the co-editors, with Gail Burnaford and Cynthia Weiss, of
Renaissance in the Classroom: Arts Integration and Meaningful
Learning. He consults nationally and internationally on the role of
the arts in effective school improvement. He has been recognized for
exceptional leadership by the Chicago Community Trust and by the
Leadership for a Changing World initiative supported by the Ford
Foundation. He is one of the writers of the musical Sylvia's Real
Good Advice, based on Nicole Hollander's nationally syndicated comic
strip Sylvia.

Bree Walker Lampley
Bree Walker Lampley has worked in media for over 25 years and is
currently the producer of Crystal Spring Productions, an
entertainment company fostering motion picture and television
projects. Previously, she was a news anchor for KNSD-TV San Diego
and for KCBS-TV Los Angeles. A seasoned broadcast journalist,
Walker was a war and crisis reporter in Armenia and Somalia and
produced numerous investigative stories. She hosted the 2000
Democratic National Convention held in Los Angeles and the
International Paralympics held in Sydney, Australia. As an
actress, Walker has appeared in television programs such as
Cagney and Lacey and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, in addition
to her work in theater. She has worked with a number of
disability organizations, such as the March of Dimes and the
Challenge Center for Disabled Athletes, to promote public
awareness. She has received Emmy awards and Golden Mikes for
her broadcasting experience and has been recognized for her
commitment to disability awareness with the Bob Dole Foundation
National Service Award, and the Bush Administration's "Thousand
Points of Light."
