VSA arts is proud to present our twelve Fellows in the visual arts. They are exemplars, they are leaders, and their work forms the core of the 2004 International VSA arts Festival coming to Washington, D.C. June 9-12, 2004. Fellows selection began with an international call for nominations; the final twelve were selected by a distinguished jury. Prior to the Festival, these Fellows have committed to community projects in their respective countries.

These signature artists truly exemplify the Festival Theme - Odyssey: Dare to Imagine. While a life may be influenced by disability, for an artist the crux of the journey will always be passion, vision, and commitment. VSA arts is pleased to be a part of these artists' journeys, and invites you to imagine the course of your own personal odyssey.
